Well, well, well, I'm on my third version for this board and probably the last. It has basically all the components from the second version, since that board was quite good. So what I've changed. Well, first of all the size. I want to 3D print a case for this projcet so I want the board to be as small as it can get. The width of the board was given by the buck converter. But now I've found another buck converter that is smaller so I could make the board smaller in width. All I wanted is to get this board to be more compact. That's why I've also used a smaller crystal oscillator of 16MHz. Like this, there is a lot more space on thye baord.

To order your boards, use JLCPCB.com and select your color.

In version 2, the DC plug was huge so I had to make the 3D case very tall. That's why in this version I'm using a USB connector so that will make the case smaller. Also, I've placed all the components in such a way, that I could then palce the T12 tip close to the board. In taht way the board will have the height of the OLED scren plus the board itself ant the height of the T12 tip.

It still uses the OPAMP configuration to measure the temperature of the thermocouple. To display the temperature it still uses an OLED screen. The buttons are on the sides and we still have the vibrations sensor that will get out of sleep mode.

For the power control, I'm still using a big MOSFET witha pulldown resistor at its gate and controlled with PWM signal. For now, the firmware is still the same, but there might be future improvements. That's it guys. That's the first look ovet the third version of my board. What do you think about a kickstarter on this one? Stay tuned for future updates and a full tutorial on this board on my YouTube channel. I really hope you will like this third version. Keep up.
