Canon M50 FPC conector identification and repair

I've managed to measure the flexible wire. Between the pins there are around 4mm. For a 17-pin connector, here are the actual manufacturing dimensions based on the pitch: If the pitch were 0.20 mm, the traces would measure 3.2 mm and the total width would be ~3.6 mm. If the pitch were 0.25 mm, the traces measure exactly 4.0 mm and the total width (including tabs) is 4.5 mm. If the pitch were 0.30 mm, the traces would measure 4.8 mm and the total width would be ~5.4 mm. The photo matches the middle option exactly: the flexible cable from your Canon M50 has a 0.25 mm pitch. So after searching, I found that the connector is the FH43MW-17S-0.25SHW but unfortunelly, is only available for bulk purchase and quote. But fortunately, the 17-pin standard with a 0.25 mm pitch is not exclusive to Hirose. A direct equivalent exists, manufactured by the electronics giant Molex.
